Tender are the moments

We tend to take time for granted
dashing here and there
Did I say I love you?
Tender are those moments

We tend to our family each day
in a rush I forgot to say
I love you
Tender are those moments

Tender is the macaroni I cooked
for Bridget, Mike and my darlings
Emily loves butter!
Tender are those moments

We tend to peek at blogs
but leave no replies
Will you take a moment
because, tender is my heart.

Nice poem! By the way, I really like the structure of your poem "Remembering." Thanks for the encouragement & advice on my poem - I'm so glad you liked it! I'll probably post more poems in the future :)

Thank you! I wrote this off the cuff for my sister in law, Bridget, whom never has the time to stop long enough to leave a comment....she is so very busy with her 4 darling children.

My poem, "Remembering" is a rictameter:

"Rictameter, which has 9 lines, is a scheme similar to Cinquain. Starting your first line with a two syllable word, you then consecutively increase the number of syllables per line by two. i.e. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 Then down again, 8, 6, 4, 2 Making the final line the same two syllable word you began with."

Feel free to be a follower of my blog. I want to follow your blog but didn't see where to click on for that. I am still a newbie to this blog stuff! hahaha
